Bedtime stories

Today the girls didn't feel so well. Chesa has a bit of pneumonia in her right lung and her chest X-ray also showed she has asthma, poor girl. Mally has also been complaining about some tummy aches, so she will go to the doctor tomorrow morning. Let's hope everything will pass soon and we can get back to normal life. Whatever normal is.
"When you were a baby, you were light. Mother could carry you easily.
Now that you are big, you are too heavy to carry."
"How heavy are you?"

Friday: Hometown tourism

Today Matt got up bright and early to go to an eye doctor appointment. Seeing as this never happens (Matt works late hours) I took advantage of this and got the girls dressed, packed a few things and by the time Matt was finished we were ready for a morning out and about. We headed downtown for breakfast at a quaint little diner and a stroll out on the square. We could have stayed out there all day, but unfortunately the heat got to us.

Vintage Obsession

Right here and now I am letting it be known, that I have a slight obsession with thrifting and vintage anything. I've become quite the little vintage hoarder. When a trip to Razorback town arose last weekend, I couldn't pass up the Goodwill's. I found some amazing things, here are a few of the dresses I found.

This my friends is what happens when you put everything else before yourself  :(  My whole house is spotless (well not spotless) except of course this poor closet.

Allow us to introduce ourselves

Hey there, my name is Krystal and this is my little family. I live a pretty simple life in a small town in the south, with my fiance, Matt and our two daughters Malaya and Chesa. My children are my world and I strive to provide them with wonderful memories that last a lifetime and this is my attempt to document every bit, with some extra stuff thrown in.
