Well, October has come and gone. It's hard to believe really, we were just getting that excited feeling for color changing leaves, pumpkin patches and cool weather. I hope everyone had a great time yesterday for Halloween! Unfortunately, the girls were having some serious allergy problems so we weren't able to take them out trick or treating. We ended up putting our costumes on, staying in watching Alvin and the Chipmunks meet Frankenstein and handing out candy. Chesa didn't really know any better, as far as she knows she didn't miss out on anything. And Mally, every time we opened the door she was the first to yell "TRICK OR TREAT", which in her book is just about the same thing as actually going trick or treating, so there weren't any complaints. I still feel bad they weren't able to get out and have fun running around with all the other kids, but there is always next year and hopefully then I will feel a bit more prepared! Now on to November!!
For this candy corn wreath I followed Rhonda's tutorial @ The Messy Roost Mine didn't turn out quite at good as hers though |

I am so blown away by how fast October went by. I feel like Christmas will come tomorrow.
