This project is super simple and can be done with a couple things you probably have around the house. I decided to make this for Mally, so I used one of my old holey extra small shirts.
*What you need* T-shirt: the smaller the shirt the better fit for children Sissors |
Cut just under armpits |
Cut several strips down the shirt |
Stretch the strips |
Gather strips, making sure seam are together Cut 1 strip to make a long piece |
Twist the strips once to make a figure 8 |
Fold together both ends to make a circle All seams should be grouped together |
Tie the end of the long strip right above the seams |
This is your end product |
Very cute idea! :)

Thank you Stefani! Would love to see what yours ends up looking like :)
DeleteShe is so adorable! Such a little fashionista. My little girl so far hates anything that goes on her head or around her neck or even wearing shoes. LOL! Oh dear! Even wearing clothes she refuses, but gotta have to. :) I was wanting to make a t-shirt scarf for a long time now, but haven't got around to doing it. It looked great on her.
ReplyDeleteWell your daughter is such a cutie in whatever she wears :) This is a super quick diy, gotta try it!
